Background

Set and setting: Had a good dinner with the family. Retired to my attic office for my experiment. Experience level: not much of a psychonaut. Weed and alcohol, pseudoephedrine, ephedrine, cocaine, crack, opium, Adderall, Xanax, MDMA, LSD, DXM, diphenhydramine. Had a heavy drinking and coke problem which I’ve recovered from and don’t engage in anymore. Prescribed medications: escitalopram 20mg and abilify 20mg daily for the last 2 weeks

Experience report

Started with some allergy tests early in the day. First, a few grains. Then a 10mg sublingual dose. Finally, a 20mg sublingual dose. Spread out over several hours. All is well. Thought I felt a slight drunkenness after the last allergy test, but most likely it was nothing… or not much of anything anyway. Come up and come down are smooth and gentle. Definitely not debilitating on the come down. First round of 70mg seemed like too little. The experience came and went rather quickly. There was definitely inebriation and some physical dissociation, but rather minor, I would think. Some tracers. Had to check my eyes, but no dilation. Second round of 81mg was too much for me. Mental confusion took hold. I had to wait that out. I was clear minded enough to note that I needed to lay down and wait until the peak had passed. A great deal of confusion ensued. Found myself a bit confused and frightened. Had to remind myself that this would all pass with a bit of time. I watched philosophy lectures and found them difficult to follow… more difficult than usual. The videos themselves struck me as 3-dimensional. Fell asleep between 330am and 4am. Probably closer to 4am. Woke up around 9am due to my daughter calling me. Blood vessel seems to have gone red in my left eye. Timeline

T+ 0:00 – 11pm 70mg 2-FDCK weighed on a milligram scale taken sublingually. A little gross, but not overpowering. T+ 0:10 – My head and face are warm. Maybe just part of the excitement of trying this new substance. T+0:31 – Looped. Loss of coordination. Feel a bit drunk. T+0:35 – Listening to music to guide the journey. All is well. T+0:45 – Music was a good choice. Grounds me. Listened to Isaiah Collier’s I Am T+0:57 – Checked my balance. Made it downstairs. Got a drink of water. T+1:26 – 81 mg more sublingual… was coming down already. T+2:36 – Coming back. T+ 4:30 – Falling asleep.
