Experience:A Pleasant Sunday Afternoon

Title: A Pleasant Sunday Afternoon Substance: 6mg 2CB (0:00), 200mg Theanine (0:10) Context/Intent: Today was a day when I wanted to do some chores and event planning. There was no real pressure on what had to be done, just a day to be somewhat productive, with plenty of room for relaxation. My partner and her friend were pickling, so I hoped to be social and potentially helpful to their efforts. Overall, I intended to mildly boost productivity, as well as sociability; theanine was supplemented to smooth out any potential edges of the 2CB.

Chronology 0:20 - Mild stimulation, chalked up to anticipation or potential placebo 0:36 - Increased sociability and openness with my partner and her friend, no change in coherency or thought pattern 0:40 - Mild body load 0:47 - A bit more withdrawn, introspective, and energized. 1:00 - A bit restless, and ambitious, took a long walk to discuss a future psilocybin trip with a friend. 1:50 - Leveled out onto a health plateau, nice and bubbly, although distracted. 3:00 - Minor body load still present, overall optimistic outlook on the future. 5:00 - Distinctly sober

Conclusion: While I felt that I could’ve been productive, I was largely distracted by my partner and friends. I felt the urge to ensure positive outcomes for future days off, so perhaps this has utility as a preparatory tool for larger trips. Not exactly focused, but coherent enough for a flow state. Would likely be more optimal for recreational exercise, nature exploration, or sex.

Addendum: Experimented the following day with the same dosage of 2CB, yet no theanine(not as comprehensively recorded, hence only an addendum). I was notably more focused on a given task and was able to make a lot of progress on the book I’ve been reading (Tikhal). Granted, I was just hanging around the house with my partner, and I reckon the lack of distractions contributed to this state
