Background
Have been using hypnotics for a while, but at normal doses there is no tolerance to speak of that has developped. Commonly used products are 5mg nitrazepam or 1mg lorazepam. Non-negligible experience with depressants, i.e narcotics, benzo and phenobarbital, used medically as well as recreationally.
Experience report
Finding proper sleep is sometimes hard due to the implications of other mental disorders. Hypnotics seem to treat me well though, and despite what doctors say about how it's bad for you etc... I started looking for RC hypnotics on the internet to guarantee my supply.
I had already eaten some stuff when I unpacked the envelope and extracted one tiny yellow puck, 5mm and alledgedly easy to break in halves. It wasn't, the stuff they use to solidify the pill is much harder than most pharma products. I couldn't even have it dissolve in sublingual and had to swallow. Now I can guarantee that after maybe 10 but no more than 15min there were already some effects coming up...nothing weird, just faster than what I usually take. So I was in front of my PC and stayed for another handful of minutes, then started to feel really slow. Reacting to stuff was difficult, I would read a sentence and forget the start as soon as I'd read the end. Figured it would be safe to lie down so long as I could still walk. Lying down sideways on the bed, not planning to sleep yet and with my clothes still on. Next thing I know it is the morning and it has been 11hrs. The lights had been on the whole time. Felt rested like I rarely am, certainly no hangover of any kind. 1mg was enough to get me KO in basically 30min, and that was the smallest pill available, that you can barely break in half. I suspect the shop sells it for people who already have tolerance since there's no way a noobie can take 1mg and not fall down to the ground like a rock. This product is related to triazolam, and I very well understand how, it's basically the same thing even though I'd say 1mg flualp = 0.5mg triaz. Now some people have said it lasts very long...I disagree. I suspect it's because some people dose it like it is alprazolam, then end up with an excessive dose of product and it lasts too long as a result. Flualp has never given me after effects and I have used it at 0.5mg basically a hundred times. The next morning, you are fresh. With nitrazepam, take it at larger dose for 3 days and you start feeling slow each morning, that's after effects. Flualp has not given me that, and since it is one of the "methylated" benzo with high solunility in fat, it's normal that its effect dissipate quickly.
It is arguable the best hypnotic I know, even though barbital feels better, I don't think it is any more powerful. You can't really get more power out of a pill than with 1mg of flualp.
