Template:Proofread This page will cover tactics for easing/aborting bad trips. Some of these aforementioned tactics involve the consumption of additional psychoactive substances. We must remind all readers that any advice concerning the use of drugs to bring down a bad trip is purely subjective and is provided 'as is' on a non-professional basis. Please do your research on the combination dangers of different drugs before attempting any trip. PsychonautWiki, its creators, and contributors cannot be held accountable for your choices. Aborting a trip can be defined as taking action that softens or stops negative cognitive symptoms when tripping on a hallucinogenic substance. One may attempt to abort a trip due to fear, the experience of overwhelming symptoms, or even boredom. Although the term "bad trip" usually refers to states created by a dissociative or psychedelic drug, it can also be used for states created by stimulants, deliriants, and other psychoactive drugs.
