Prescription Drugs

SSRIs

If someone on an SSRIs wants to take any hallucinogen they should abstain from their SSRI for at least double the half life of their SSRI. Complications from SSRI interaction can range from decreased effects to fatal serotonin syndrome.

MAOIs

Atypical antidepressants that have any effect on serotonin or dopamine should be treaded just as carefully as SSRIs.

Dissociatives

Alcohol, GHB/GBL, and Benzos should be avoided while on any dissociative, this can lead to nausea, vertigo and blackouts

DXM should not be mixed with any serotonin releasing agents; mixing it with 2C-T-x, MDMA, aMT, cocaine or amphetamine can lead to Serotonin Syndrome.

MXE releases serotonin in smaller quantities than DXM and percaution should be used when mixed with any of the aforementioned drugs.

Psychedelics

Possible Heart Risk

These combinations should be avoided if you have a history of heart complications
