Immersion enhancement is an effect which can be described as a pronounced increase in one's ability to become
fully immersed in a concept, setting, task, or other visual or auditory stimuli such as music, movies, and various forms of media. This effect is very common in its manifestation with psychedelics and dissociatives and can increase to a level of intensity resulting in complete focus-based ego loss as a result of complete immersion. This effect is also known as the psychological concept flow and has been widely referenced across a variety of fields for thousands of years (notably in some eastern religions).[1]
