In many cases taking an MAOI can lead more severe negative effects from hallucinogens although it actually improves the trip for several drugs. An MAOI can be mixed with mushrooms, mescaline, LSD or vaporized DMT safety which will increase the trip; an MAOI is needed to make DMT orally active, this combination is commonly known as ayahuasca.
