The following sentence (2nd sentence in the introduction) "It is a popular member of the 2C-x family of psychedelic phenethylamines, all of which are derivatives of mescaline." is incorrect. [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mescaline Mescaline] is a 3,4,'''5'''-substituted phenethylamine, while 2C-x compounds are 3,4,'''6'''-substituted phenethylamines. Slight, but nonetheless (bio)chemically significant difference.
