SSRIs
If someone on an SSRIs wants to take any hallucinogen they should abstain from their SSRI for at least double the half life of their SSRI. Complications from SSRI interaction can range from decreased effects to fatal serotonin syndrome.

MAOIs
In many cases taking an MAOI can lead more severe negative effects from hallucinogens although it actually improves the trip for several drugs. An MAOI can be mixed with mushrooms, mescaline, LSD or vaporized DMT safety which will increase the trip; an MAOI is needed to make DMT orally active, this combination is commonly known as ayahuasca. When taking any other hallucinogens one must abstain from MAOIs for at least double the drug's half life.

*Atypical antidepressants that have any effect on serotonin or dopamine should be treaded just as carefully as SSRIs.

Dissociatives
Alcohol, GHB/GBL, and Benzos should be avoided while on any dissociative, this can lead to nausea, vertigo and blackouts

DXM should not be mixed with any serotonin releasing agents; mixing it with 2C-T-x, MDMA, aMT, cocaine or amphetamine can lead to Serotonin Syndrome.

MXE releases serotonin in smaller quantities than DXM and precaution should be used when mixed with any of the aforementioned drugs.

Psychedelics
DOx chemicals cause strong vasoconstriction and should not be mixed with any stimulants.

Serotonin Releasers
The main method of action on this group of drugs is releasing serotonin in the brain, as such they should be used in moderation when mixed with each other and should not be mixed with serotonin reuptake inhibitor.

Common serotonin releasers: MDMA, MDA, MDEA, 6-APB, 5-APB, MDAI, Mephedrone, Methylone

serotonin reuptake inhibiting hallucinogens: aMT, DXM

Possible Heart Risk
These combinations should be avoided if you have a history of heart complications:
{| class="wikitable" align="left"
*Ketamine should not be mixed with cocaine, high chance of heart attack.
